Ferris State University senior Chloe Idoni has been recognized as a recipient of the 2024 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Commissioner's Award. The announcement was made by the GLIAC, which presents these awards after each athletic season to six female and six male student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically.

Idoni played a pivotal role in leading the Ferris State Bulldogs to their first-ever NCAA Division II National Semifinals. She averaged 16.7 points and 6.0 rebounds per game, contributing to the team's record-breaking 26-6 overall performance and their victory in the NCAA D2 Midwest Region Championship.

As team captain, Idoni helped Ferris State defeat the nation's top-ranked team three times during the season. Her achievements include All-GLIAC First Team honors, selection to the GLIAC All-Defensive Team, and College Sports Communicators Academic All-America accolades. Additionally, she was named a first-team all-region choice.

The GLIAC Commissioner's Awards have been presented since 2007, with Ferris State now having had 85 student-athletes recognized among the league's best.
