The Ferris State University women's golf team participated in the NC4K College Classic, starting on Monday, April 8, 2024. The team scored a total of 309 in the first round held at Pinnacle Golf Club in Grove City, Ohio. This performance placed them fourth overall with a +21 score.
Ferris State trails closely behind Saginaw Valley State, which is in third place with a +20 score. Indianapolis leads the tournament after day one with a +8 score (296), followed by Ashland at +14 (302) among the 14 teams competing.
Lizzie Anderson led Ferris State with a score of 73, tying for third on the leaderboard. Dani Staskowski also performed well, scoring a 75 and securing seventh place overall.
Kamryn Shannon achieved a score of 79, placing her tied for 20th. Hallie Crozier scored an 82 and is tied for 34th position. Taylor Musselman finished the first round with an 85, tying for 47th place, while Abby Grevel scored an 88 and is tied for 55th.
The second day of the tournament will continue on Tuesday, April 9, hosted by Ohio Dominican University.
