The Ferris State University women's golf team achieved a commendable third-place finish at the "FIndianapolis" Intercollegiate event, held at Chariot Run Golf Course in Laconia, Indiana. The competition took place over two days, April 1-2.
The Bulldogs recorded a team score of 942 over three rounds, finishing +78 for the 54-hole event among seven teams. Their scores included a 313 in the first round, an improved 303 in the second round, and a final round of 326. They placed behind Findlay, who won with +7, and Indianapolis, who secured second place with +23.
Kamryn Shannon led Ferris State's performance by finishing tenth individually with a total score of 229. Her rounds included scores of 77 and consecutive 76s to end at +13 overall. Lizzie Anderson followed closely, tying for twelfth with a score of 232 after shooting rounds of 77, 75, and an 80.
Dani Staskowski tied for eighteenth place with an overall score of 238 (+22), while Hallie Crozier ended twenty-fourth at +28 with a total score of 244. Abby Grevel shared twenty-fifth place with a score of 246 (+30).
Competing as an individual, Taylor Musselman tied for fourteenth overall with a total score of 235 (+19) across her three rounds.
Looking ahead, the Bulldogs are set to participate in the NC4K Classic on April 8-9 in Grove City, Ohio. They will then compete in the GLIAC Women's Golf Championships from April 19-21 in Augusta, Michigan.
