The Ferris State University women's golf team is set to participate in the 2024 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championships from April 19 to April 21. The event will take place at the Gull Lake View Golf Club and Resort in Augusta, Michigan, near Battle Creek.

This year's championship will maintain the format introduced four years ago. Each participating school will compete in 36 holes of stroke play, with the lowest four out of five scores contributing to the team's total score. After two rounds, the top four teams will move on to head-to-head medal play on Saturday. This bracket format mirrors that used in NCAA Championships. The two victorious teams from the semifinals will advance to Sunday's finals, where a GLIAC Champion will be determined.

Gull Lake View Golf Club & Resort is noted for being one of the largest golf resorts globally, offering six championship courses. Golfers have the opportunity to play 18 holes daily for six days without repeating a hole.

The tournament begins on Friday at Stonehedge Golf Club's North Course at 10:45 a.m. Eastern Time. The course is a par 72 and measures 5,829 yards.

Ferris State's women's golf team has won five GLIAC Championships historically and enters this year's competition as the defending champion after securing last year's title.
