The Bulldogs, entering as the number four seed, will face Wayne State, the fifth seed, in an opening-round match on Thursday, May 2. The game is scheduled to start at 12 p.m. Eastern Time. Under the guidance of second-year head coach Jake Schumann, Ferris State concluded the regular season with 24 wins, marking their most successful regular-season performance in eight years. Their opponent, Wayne State, holds a record of 17-28 overall and a 9-15 record in league play.
