Ferris State University's non-conference softball doubleheader against Lewis University, originally scheduled for Tuesday, April 23, has been canceled. The games will not be rescheduled. This change marks the completion of Ferris State's 2024 home schedule.
The Bulldogs will now focus on their final Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) regular-season games. They are set to play away matches against Wayne State on Friday, April 26, and Saginaw Valley State on Saturday, April 27. The games at Wayne State will begin at 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time, while the matchups at Saginaw Valley State are scheduled to start at noon Eastern Time.
Currently holding a record of 23-22 overall and an 11-9 standing in GLIAC play, Ferris State is part of a competitive group of four teams within two games of each other in the GLIAC standings as they approach the last week of regular-season play.
