Ferris State University senior Hanna Brock has been named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week. Brock, from Big Rapids, played a crucial role in leading the Bulldogs to a third-place finish at the Live In The Lou Classic in Louisville, Kentucky.

Brock's performance was notable as she recorded one of Ferris State's top 10 all-time performances in the 5K event. She finished fourth overall with a time of 18:18.4, contributing significantly to Ferris State University's third-place position in the Blue Division with 135 points.

The Live In The Lou Classic is recognized as one of the largest and most prestigious cross country events nationwide. Ferris State competed against a field of 24 teams and secured third place behind NCAA Division I schools, University of Charlotte and Illinois-Chicago.

Looking ahead, Ferris State will participate in the Lewis Conference Crossover on October 12 in Romeoville, Illinois.
