The Ferris State University women's golf team participated in the first two rounds of the Findlay Beall Fall Classic on Monday, Sept. 30, and currently stands in eighth place. The event is taking place at the Findlay Country Club in Ohio.
The Bulldogs posted scores of 309 in the first round and 300 in the second round, totaling 609 over the initial 36 holes. The final round is scheduled for Tuesday.
Host team Findlay led after day one with a score of 579, followed by Missouri-St. Louis with 583 and Tiffin with 599. Eighteen teams are competing in this two-day, 54-hole tournament.
Taylor Musselman was Ferris State's top performer, tied for 17th place overall at +5 through two rounds. She recorded a four-over-par 76 in the first round and a one-over-par 73 in the second.
Lizzie Anderson is tied for 24th with a total score of 152, shooting a 77 in round one and a 75 in round two.
Kamryn Shannon is tied for 28th with scores of 77 and 76, totaling to a figure of 153.
Hallie Crozier scored a total of 155 after rounds of 79 and then improved to shoot a score of 76, tying her for the position of being ranked at number forty-one on leaderboard positions.
Kylie Walker is tied for sixty-first after scoring an eighty-two during her first round followed by seventy-six during her second; leaving her with one hundred fifty-eight points overall.
