Ferris State women's golf finishes third at Folds Of Honor Challenge

The Ferris State University women's golf team concluded the Folds of Honor Challenge with a third-place finish on Tuesday at The Meadows Golf Course in Allendale.

The Bulldogs recorded a 296 in the final round, finishing with an overall score of 913 for the 54-hole event. On day one, they shot a 311, followed by a 306 in the second round.

Findlay secured first place with a total score of 893, while Grand Valley State finished second with an 895, ahead of Ferris State University.

Kamryn Shannon led Ferris State individually, placing third overall at +7 for the tournament. Her performance included a final-round score of 72, culminating in a total of 220.

Hallie Crozier tied for tenth place with a total score of 229 after carding a 73 in the last round. Lizzie Anderson placed thirteenth at 230, also shooting a 73 on Tuesday.

Taylor Musselman tied for twenty-third with a total score of 242 over the three rounds after scoring an 83 in the final round. Kylie Walker carded a final-round score of 78 and had an overall two-round total of 157, placing her thirty-fourth.

Competing as an individual, Ashley Thomasma finished twenty-sixth with a total score of 247 after shooting an 83 in round three.

The Bulldogs will next participate in the Beall Fall Classic hosted by the University of Findlay from September 30 to October 1 in Ohio.
