Ferris State women’s golf team holds third place at Folds Of Honor Challenge

The Ferris State University women's golf team maintained its third-place position at the Folds of Honor Challenge after the second day of play on Monday in Allendale at The Meadows Golf Course.

The Bulldogs, who recorded a 311 first-round total on Sunday, improved with a 306 in Monday's second round, bringing their overall score to 617 for the three-round event. The final 18 holes will be played on Tuesday.

Host Grand Valley State leads the competition with a score of 602, followed by Findlay at 603 overall.

Kamryn Shannon from Ferris State moved up to tie for third place overall after recording a two-over 73 in the second round, following her initial score of 75. She currently stands at 148 through 36 holes.

Hallie Crozier posted a score of 79 in round two and is placed 12th on the leaderboard with an overall figure of 156. She had shot a 77 in round one.

Lizzie Anderson is currently at an overall score of 157, with scores of 80 in round one and 77 in round two.

Taylor Musselman posted a score of 77 in the second round following an initial score of 82 and is tied for 18th with an overall total of 159.

Ashley Thomasma participated as an individual and is tied for the 26th position with an overall total of 164. She scored an 84 in round two after beginning with an initial score of 80 on Sunday.

The final round begins on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. ET.
