The Ferris State University men's tennis team began the fall season with a strong performance on Sunday, September 8, in Midland. Competing against regional opponents Northwood and Tiffin, the Bulldogs participated in eight singles matches and four doubles contests. The team emerged victorious in 20 out of 24 matches overall, with six new players achieving wins in both singles and doubles.

Ferris State recorded a 9-3 scoreline against Northwood and an impressive 11-1 against Tiffin.

"I was so impressed with how everybody stepped up in their first outing of the year," said FSU head coach Mark Doren. "What stood out the most was the depth of our new team, winning all of the #7 and #8 singles matches along with both #4 doubles contests."

The Bulldogs are scheduled to compete next at the Davenport Invitational on September 20, followed by participation in the ITA Regional Championships from September 28-30.
