Ferris State University has announced that its second annual women's basketball and softball golf outing, scheduled for August 23, is officially sold out. The event will begin at 10 a.m. (ET) at Katke Golf Course on the FSU campus, with proceeds supporting both the women's basketball and softball programs.

This marks the fourth sellout of the summer for Ferris State University, following previous sellouts of the football, hockey, and men's basketball golf events.

The Ferris State women's basketball team recently reached the NCAA Division II National Semifinals for the first time in program history under head coach Kurt Westendorp. The team also won its first NCAA D2 Midwest Regional Championship and achieved a program-best 26-6 overall record.

The Bulldog Softball program concluded its 2024 season under second-year head coach Jake Schumann with 25 victories, marking FSU's most wins in eight years. The team featured a young roster with only one senior and participated in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Tournament.
