The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) will hold its annual Football Media Day on Thursday, Aug. 1, at the Sheraton Grand Rapids Airport Hotel in Grand Rapids. Bulldog fans can follow all the action with exclusive content online.
The GLIAC will provide live coverage of the event, including a reveal of the 2024 preseason coaches' poll and interviews with players and coaches via a live stream on FloSports and the GLIAC's YouTube channel.
Ferris State will offer exclusive access on the Bulldogs' various social media platforms, including Twitter (or X), Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Threads along with FerrisStateBulldogs.com both during and after the event.
The GLIAC's live web stream will begin at 12:50 p.m. (ET) with opening comments from GLIAC Commissioner Kris Dunbar. The Bulldogs' representatives, which include two-time National Coach of the Year Tony Annese in addition to senior receiver Tyrese Hunt-Thompson (Cassopolis) and linebacker Sefa Saipaia (Canton, Ohio), are scheduled to be interviewed live by host Adam Jaska at approximately 2 p.m. (ET).
FSU's social media coverage will include behind-the-scenes looks from media day, social media interviews with players and coaches, a season preview, feature segments, photos, and more. The Voices of Ferris State Football, Rob Bentley and Sandy Gholston, will be on-site along with members of the Bulldog Sports Network broadcast and coverage team.
Ferris State has reached the NCAA Division II Playoffs for nine consecutive years to date and is ranked as the nation's preseason #4 team according to Lindy's Sports.
