Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's soccer team will commemorate the program's 25th anniversary this fall with a special alumni reunion scheduled for September 14-15 on the FSU campus.

The Bulldogs are inviting all former players and coaches to participate in the two-day celebration, which will honor the soccer program that began in 1999. The event will commence on Saturday, September 14, featuring tours of the campus and sports complex, including the program's new locker room and weight room in the Center for Athletics Performance. A pregame Bulldog Soccer Alumni Tailgate is planned before FSU's home football game against Ashland (6 p.m. kickoff), during which all Bulldog Soccer alumni and former coaches will be recognized at halftime alongside Ferris State's current 2024 squad.

On Sunday, September 15, the Bulldog women's soccer team will host Ashland at 1 p.m. (ET). Another Bulldog Soccer Alumni Tailgate will precede the game, followed by an on-field halftime recognition of all attending soccer alumni and coaches.

The Bulldogs encourage all former players and coaches to attend the celebration to reminisce, celebrate, and create new memories together. Those who RSVP by September 1 will receive a commemorative scarf marking the 25th anniversary, along with two complimentary tickets for both the football game on September 14 and the women's soccer match on September 15.

Ferris State Soccer concluded its 2023 fall season by reaching the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Tournament Semifinals for the sixth consecutive year. In addition to reaching the NCAA Division II Final Four in 2022, FSU made its 15th-straight league tournament appearance and its 17th overall in program history last season.

The Bulldogs will return a strong core of players this season, including most of their starting lineup. Under head coach Greg Henson's leadership, they have won their first GLIAC regular-season title and league tournament championship while making two NCAA Tournament appearances and advancing to the national semifinals for the first time in school history.
