Dear Staff, Parents and Guardians:
Here are a few important dates for the 2022-2023 school year for Grand Rapids Public Schools.
The first day of school, Thanksgiving break, winter break, and spring break are not subject to change. However, the remaining dates (e.g., half days, professional development, records flex, etc.) are still being negotiated between the district and the Grand Rapids Education Association as required by state law. Once we have a final agreement, the full calendar will be published and distributed.

Thanksgiving Break Wednesday, November 23 - Sunday, November 27, 2022
Winter Break Saturday, December 17, 2022 - Monday, January 2, 2023
(school resumes on Tuesday, January 3)
Spring Break Friday, March 31 - Sunday, April 9, 2023
