Kent ISD issued the following announcement on Sept 21.
Did you know Kent ISD staff honor their peers every month by recognizing when they go above and beyond? At last night's school board meeting, Superintendent Ron Koehler presented this month's awards to Cindy Meyer of Facilities and the Communications Team.
Cindy received the Leading Learning Award for overall excellence. Her colleagues on the Facilities Team call her the "glue that holds our department together". She always treats everyone with dignity and respect going out of her way to make all feel welcome, the epitome of outstanding, high-quality customer service.
The Comm Team including Katie McClintic, Nate Gimby and Joy Walczak were presented the Golden Keyboard Award for using technology in innovative ways to bring the 1,600 person Kent ISD Team together virtually and in person on Opening Day.
Congratulations to all and keep those nominations coming for next month!
