City of East Grand Rapids issued the following announcement on March 5
EGR will see increased traffic tomorrow, Thursday, March 5, as the high school will be hosting the Band and Orchestra Festival. As busses will be utilizing the Bagley Avenue lot throughout the day, faculty and staff have been directed to park in the senior lot on Lake Drive.
We ask our high schoolers to use legal on-street parking on surrounding streets rather than the Community Center parking lot, which is intended for those visiting the library and City offices and participating in recreation programs.
Above all, we ask all residents to be particularly safety conscious during the morning and afternoon school commutes.
