Grand Rapids Public Schools issued the following announcement on Dec. 19.

Grand Rapids is getting ready for the 2020 Census, which affects federal funds for schools, roads, health care and other vital services. Our goal is that each and every one of Grand Rapids residents will be counted in the 2020. Census.
