City of Grand Rapids issued the following announcement on Dec. 11.
Spread the light of Chanukah and join together with the Jewish community during the Chanukah Menorah Lighting, which takes place from Dec. 22 to Dec. 29 at the Calder Plaza. The 18-foot menorah will be lit each evening of Chanukah and celebrated with dancing, music, latkes and donuts.
