GRAND RAPIDS, MI—Last week was National Small Business Week, and Congresswoman Hillary Scholten (MI03) spent time meeting with the incredible owners and employees of the small businesses across West Michigan.
“Small businesses are woven into the fabric of our West Michigan community, and it was so rewarding to spend my week meeting with owners, entrepreneurs, and workers to hear about their successes and struggles,” said Rep. Scholten. “As a leader on the Small Business Committee, I am committed to being a voice for our local businesses in Congress. This week’s meetings were only the start of a conversation as I work to boost good-paying, family-sustaining jobs locally and ensure that local businesses are connected with the tools they need to succeed.”
During her tour of small businesses across West Michigan, Rep. Scholten held roundtables, toured facilities, and heard from patrons of small businesses in Grand Rapids and on the Lakeshore.
