April is Carbon Monoxide Safety and Awareness Month.
Protect yourself and your family against this invisible killer by installing CO detectors in your home. The Rockford Department of Public Safety has a limited supply of free CO detectors and smoke detectors available for residents. We will even install them for you if you need assistance. Please call 616-866-1537 to make an appointment.
If you suspect you have been exposed to CO, leave the area immediately and then call your local fire department or utility company
