CITY OF WALKER: Hydrant Relocation Work

Fire hydrant 1480355627g84

City of Walker recently issued the following announcement.

One more water shutdown is planned for the Kinney Avenue Reconstruction project. However, this work will be done in a different location than the previous water shutdown which happened earlier this month.

Crews will be working to relocate a fire hydrant Monday, July 19. This will affect some homes on Waldorf Street and Randall Avenue, just west of Kinney Avenue. Please scroll down to see a map of the impacted area.

Work, weather-permitting, is anticipated to begin around 8 a.m. with service restored by early afternoon. Homeowners are being notified by the contractor.

Once again, we thank you for your cooperation and patience as crews work to improve Kinney Avenue.
