City of Grandville issued the following announcement on Dec. 29.
Overnight snowfall continues this morning but is anticipated to improve later this morning/early afternoon. Morning crews came in at 4 a.m. to continue efforts of overnight crew. As snow continues to fall, crews must return to the highest volume roads, including state roads (US, I, M roads like US-131, I-96, M-21) and county primary roads. Neighborhood roads will not be addressed this morning. Motorists will need to reduce speeds, leave additional time to reach destination and allow plenty of room between vehicles. Remember: give our plows plenty of room and do NOT pass a plow on the right – it may be using a wing plow that you cannot see.
