CITY OF GRANDVILLE: Trick-or-Treating Will Take Place On Halloween This Year

Trickortreat

City of Grandville issued the following announcement on Sept. 28.

The City has received several inquiries from residents asking if Trick-or-Treating will take place on Halloween this year in light of COVID-19.

Halloween is not a city-sponsored event, although the City annually announces suggested hours for Trick-or-Treating (6-8pm on Halloween).

Choosing to participate in Halloween activities or not is up to you, however, we encourage everyone to consider current CDC guidelines related to Halloween that can be found here:

https://www.cdc.gov/.../daily-life-coping/holidays.html...

If you choose to participate, please be safe and adhere to any public health recommendations being issued by the Kent County Health Department or the CDC.

We are several weeks away from Halloween, so please continue to watch for any updated recommendations from public health officials. We hope this is helpful!
