City of East Grand Rapids issued the following announcement on Feb. 25.
Michigan law now allows residents to register to vote up to and on election day, but why wait? Save yourself some time and effort on election day by registering in person at our offices prior to the election. Your registration can be entered into the database by our staff and then your polling location will be able to issue your ballot quickly and efficiently.
Absentee ballots for the March 10 presidential primary election can be obtained in person during normal business hours or by filling out an Application for Absentee Ballot then fax it to 616.940.4884 or email it to our offices.
