Grand Rapids Public Schools issued the following announcement on Aug. 20.
On Thursday, August 22, Grand Rapids Public Schools will celebrate the final piece of structural steel being installed on the expansion of Southwest Community Campus (SWCC). Current 8th grade students at SWCC, who will be the first graduating class of 2024, will have the opportunity to sign the beam to commemorate the occasion.
