The Ferris State University men's golf team secured second place at the UIndy Fall Invitational, which concluded on Tuesday at the Broadmoor Country Club in Indiana. The Bulldogs achieved a total score of 833, finishing 31 strokes under par over the 54-hole event. They ended just four shots behind Missouri S&T, who won with a score of 829 in the nine-team competition. Missouri-St. Louis came third with a score of 837.

Ferris State began with a round one score of 283, improved to 271 in the second round, and completed the tournament with a final round score of 279.

McCoy Biagioli from Ferris State tied for fifth place individually, finishing nine-under par across three rounds. He recorded scores of 73 and 70 on Monday before achieving an eight-under par round of 64 on Tuesday.

Kole Putnam also performed well for Ferris State, tying for seventh place overall at eight-under par with a total score of 208. He shot identical scores of 69 in both the first and last rounds and carded a 70 in between.

Zach Koerner finished tied for eleventh place with an overall six-under par score of 210. His performance included scores of 70 and 68 on day one followed by a final-round score of 72.

Drayton Cleaver placed twenty-third overall with a total stroke count of 214 after scoring rounds of 71 and an impressive second-round score of 65 but closed with a final round score of 78.

Sam Havey took twenty-ninth position at an overall score of 218. His individual rounds were marked by scores of 76, followed by an improved second-round performance at level-par (68), concluding with a third-round effort resulting in a tallying mark up to four-over-par (74).

The Bulldogs are set to participate next in the Midwest Regional Preview scheduled for September thirtieth through October first in St. Joseph, Missouri.
