Officials from Forge Industrial Staffing have emphasized that taking shortcuts in the workplace could potentially lead to problems or accidents. The company recently posted a safety-oriented video on Facebook, offering various tips and advice.

According to a safety video shared by Forge on their Facebook page, it is crucial to follow the "exact instructions for each tool you use" in order to maintain a safe working environment. The video highlighted the risks associated with taking shortcuts when using tools, pointing out that saving time may not be worth it if it leads to accidents.

Forge Industrial Staffing is an industrial staffing firm headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As stated on its website, the company aspires to be "one that was built on relationships and focused on the needs of the industrial client and employee." Currently, Forge operates 11 offices throughout Michigan and Indiana.

As per Forge's safety guidelines listed on its website, "It is our goal to have each and every one of our employees placed in a safe environment so that they may return home to their families at the end of their shift safe and well." The company acknowledged that many industrial jobs come with inherent safety risks. However, Forge firmly believes that "Every accident and injury is preventable on some level."

Safety by Design suggests ten top tips for industrial workers: fostering a safety culture; ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment; maintaining clear work areas; permitting only authorized personnel for machinery operation; eliminating hazards; conducting regular inspections; promoting reporting of unsafe conditions; encouraging breaks; creating an emergency action plan; and providing ongoing safety training.

Forge also shared additional advice related to fire safety. In another video posted on Facebook, they suggested knowing the evacuation plan, being aware of where fire safety equipment is located, and never ignoring a fire alarm.
