Water Boil Water Advisory has been lifted

County of Kent issued the following announcement on Apr 15.

Drinking Water Boil Water Advisory has been lifted for Grand Rapids Water System customers

The recent Boil Water Advisory issued in connection with the reduction in pressure in the area bounded along 28th Street on the north, Vineland Avenue on the west, Breton Avenue on the east and along 32nd Street on the south, has been lifted. 

It is no longer necessary to use bottled water or to boil water before drinking it.

No bacteria have been detected in the follow up testing of the system’s water, indicating that it is safe to drink.

Customer with questions or concerns about the water should contact the Grand Rapids Customer Service at 311 or 616.456.3000.

Please share this information with all other people who drink the water in this area, especially those who may not have received this notice directly.
