Kent ISD recently issued the following announcement.
Merry Monday! Did you know that Kids' Food Basket served nearly 135,000 healthy meals to students since July of this year? They can't do what they do everyday without an army of volunteers like our IT crew. They continued their tradition this month by rolling up their sleeves and packing sack suppers for kids and teens who may otherwise go without a meal. Kids' Food Basket provides nourishment from 73 distribution sites across Kent, Muskegon, Ottawa and Allegan Counties.
