Grand Rapids Chamber issued the following announcement March 24.
Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed the "Stay Home, Stay Safe" Executive Order (EO 2020-21), directing all Michigan businesses and operations to temporarily suspend in-person operations that are not necessary to sustain or protect life.
The Grand Rapids Chamber is evaluating the details of the executive order closely to provide further guidance to you, our members, and the Governor's office. We will continue working to connect you with important information, including best practices for businesses to mitigate the impact of the crisis on your business and employees.
One way we are doing this is by providing regular conference calls to address the questions that are top-of-mind for our members.
Today's call is at 2:30 p.m. and will cover the Executive Order, and a Public Health Update. It will feature Adam London PhD, RS, DAAS, Health Officer, Kent County Health Department.
