On Thursday, March 20, former Grand Rapids Catholic Central High School standout Phat Phat Brooks’ current collegiate team the Michigan Wolverines won 68-65 against the UC San Diego Tritons in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Ball Arena, this was the first game against the UC San Diego Tritons during the championship.

The Michigan Wolverines’ next game will take place on Saturday, March 22 at 3:15 p.m. in Ball Arena against Texas A&M Aggies.

Phat Phat Brooks’ hometown is Grand Rapids and game position is guard.
