On December 12, 2024, Scholten expressed her support for a recent initiative by President Biden. She stated, “As an attorney, an advocate for the voiceless, and—most importantly—as a person of faith, I believe everyone deserves a second chance, and I applaud @POTUS for giving thousands of Americans just that. With this historic move, our country is closer to equity and justice for all.”

Later that day, Scholten highlighted her efforts in promoting green technology through collaboration with Radiant Nuclear. On December 12 at 18:34 UTC she tweeted: “I hosted leaders from @RadiantNuclear to discuss a brighter, cleaner future driven by green technology and jobs. I’m working hard to generate good-paying jobs for West Michiganders that contribute positively to a climate-friendly world.”

Additionally, Scholten showcased her support for local businesses in Michigan’s 3rd district. On December 12 at 21:36 UTC she shared: “MI-03 is home to some AMAZING small, Black-owned businesses like Basic Bee Boutique where I got this lovely frock to wear to the @VP’s residence yesterday. It’s so special to get to show off the best that West Michigan has to offer here in D.C. Thank you Basic Bee!”
