Congresswoman Hillary Scholten, representing Michigan’s 3rd district since 2023, recently shared her thoughts and commitments on social media. Scholten, who succeeded Peter Meijer in Congress, has been actively voicing her positions on various issues through tweets.

On January 25, 2025, she invited the public to listen to her full testimony by sharing a link: “To hear my full testimony, see here.”

The following day, January 26, 2025, Scholten expressed her dedication to environmental advocacy. As Vice Ranking Member of the Water Resources and Environment Subcommittee on the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, she stated: “Water IS life, and I’m thrilled to continue advocating for clean water and waterways for it on @transportdems as Vice Ranking Member of the Water Resources and Environment Subcommittee. We won’t leave Americans high and dry, time to ride the wave!”

On January 27, 2025, in recognition of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Scholten reflected on the importance of remembering those who perished during the Holocaust. She urged continued efforts against antisemitism with her message: “On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we remember the over six million people who were killed during the Holocaust. As we honor them, we must continue our fight against antisemitism and hate to ensure that the horrors of the Holocaust are never minimized or forgotten.”
