Congresswoman Hillary Scholten, representing Michigan’s 3rd district, shared several updates on social media. Her recent posts cover a range of topics from winter driving safety to educational initiatives and personal celebrations.

On November 22, 2024, Scholten addressed the issue of winter driving safety. She emphasized the importance of maintaining safe practices around snowplows. “With winter quickly approaching, let’s keep ourselves and our snowplow drivers safe. Remember: NEVER pass a snowplow on the right, and keep a generous distance between your vehicle and the plow.”

Later that day, she turned her attention to education by announcing the availability of the FAFSA form for college applicants for the 2025-26 academic year. “College applicants: the 2025-26 @FAFSA form is available NOW! I’m encouraged by this progress—our students deserve time to prepare for college.” Scholten highlighted her support for the FAFSA Deadline Act, which ensures timely access to these forms in future years.

On November 23, 2024, Scholten extended birthday wishes to fellow Michigander Representative Deb Dingell. “Wishing a very happy birthday to fellow Michigander and my friend, @RepDebDingell!” She expressed appreciation for Dingell’s wisdom and leadership within Congress.
