Later that day, Scholten reflected on her team’s accomplishments over the past year. She noted that in 2024, “Team Scholten closed over 700 cases for West Michiganders.” She highlighted a specific case where they assisted Barbara G. in obtaining her late husband’s tax refund from the IRS.

On December 8, 2024, Scholten invited children from Michigan’s 3rd district to contribute to decorating her office in Washington D.C. for the holidays. She tweeted, “We’re feeling festive here in D.C., and I need some help from MI-03 kiddos to get our office fully into the holiday spirit!” She encouraged students to mail ornaments by December 15th.
