In her first post of the day, Scholten congratulated the University of Michigan basketball team: “Congratulations to the @umichbball Wolverines on a historic season. Becoming the first Big Ten team in 50 years to go undefeated on the road in conference play is an incredible accomplishment. Proud to see Michigan making history and representing our state so well. Hillary Scholten has represented Michigan’s 3rd District since replacing Peter Meijer in 2023 and resides in Grand Rapids where she was born in 1982. She holds degrees from Gordon College and the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
