Congresswoman Hillary Scholten, representing Michigan’s 3rd district since 2023, has recently shared a series of updates on her activities and engagements via social media. These updates provide insights into her focus areas and initiatives as a U.S. Congress member.

On February 6, 2025, Scholten expressed gratitude to her constituents in West Michigan for their communication efforts through calls and emails. She invited them to join her for an upcoming telephone town hall to discuss current challenges facing the community and the nation. “West Michigan—what a year this month has been! Thank you for all your calls, emails and all of you regular readers of my newsletter.”

The following day, February 7, 2025, Scholten highlighted Kuyper College’s role as a leader among work colleges in the United States. She mentioned having a productive conversation with Kuyper College President Harris about supporting their efforts to prepare individuals for the workforce and strengthening the economy. “Kuyper College is a leader among our nation’s work colleges, and I’m determined to support their efforts to prepare our neighbors for the workforce.”

Later on February 7, Scholten participated in a live session with colleagues from the Democratic Women’s Caucus to address recent attacks on women and families since January 20th. She emphasized that their caucus stands with women nationwide and is committed to protecting their rights. “TUNE IN NOW: I’m live with my @DemWomensCaucus colleagues to address the attacks women and families have been facing since January 20th.”
