On April 7, 2025, Scholten expressed her enthusiasm about hosting “dozens of West Michiganders” for spring break in Washington. She noted that their trip could be more costly than anticipated. Scholten indicated her eagerness to “hear directly from West Michiganders” as she continues to advocate for sensible economic policies aimed at reducing expenses. “I’m thrilled to host dozens of West Michiganders for spring break in Washington this week, but their trip could be even more expensive than anticipated. Looking forward to hearing directly from West Michiganders as I fight for common sense economic policy that LOWERS your costs”

The following day, Scholten commented on the positive experience she had with constituents visiting for spring break. She thanked those who attended the reception, noting how they made Washington feel like “a home away from home.” “No better way to spend spring break than surrounded by West Michiganders! Thank you to everyone who came out for our spring break reception today — you all truly made Washington feel like a home away from home!”

In another post on April 8, 2025, Scholten addressed her return to Washington for a series of difficult votes but conveyed her readiness to undertake the work at hand. She expressed gratitude towards her supporters for providing encouragement during this busy period. “Back in Washington for a week full of tough votes, but I’m ready to get to work. Thankful to have the best folks in my corner ready to help me get through!”
