Big Rapids, Mich. – Ferris State University’s softball team will have its NCAA Division II Tournament games broadcast live this week on the Bulldog Sports Network and Sunny 97.3 FM. The tournament takes place in University Center.

The Bulldogs face Saginaw Valley State in the regional opener on Thursday, May 8. Coverage begins at 1:15 p.m. ET with Rob Bentley providing play-by-play commentary. The game starts at 1:30 p.m.

A victory on Thursday would move the Bulldogs to the winner’s bracket for a game on Friday, May 9, at 11 a.m. ET. If they lose, FSU will play again at 1:30 p.m. ET in the double-elimination event. The final day of the four-team regional is Saturday, May 10.

In addition to local radio coverage, fans can listen online via an audio stream available at FerrisStateBulldogs.com.

For those wishing to watch, all regional contests are accessible through a pay-per-view streaming service on FloSports.

This marks Ferris State’s first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2013. Under head coach Jake Schumann, now in his third year, FSU has achieved a record of 28-19 this season—the program’s best performance in ten years.
