Ferris State women’s golf ranks third after round one at Folds of Honor Challenge

The Ferris State University women’s golf team has started strong, currently holding third place after the first round of the Folds of Honor Challenge on Sunday at The Meadows Golf Course in Allendale.

The Bulldogs achieved a first-round score of 311, trailing by eight strokes behind the host team, Grand Valley State University (GVSU), which posted a 303. Findlay follows closely with a 306 total.

Individually, Kamryn Shannon from Ferris State shot a 75 and stands fourth on the leaderboard. Hallie Crozier scored a 77, placing her eighth overall. Kylie Walker recorded a 79 and is tied for 14th position, while Ashley Thomasma and Lizzie Anderson both finished with an 80, tying them for 17th place. Taylor Musselman concluded the round with an 82, ranking her 25th.

Round two of the three-round event will commence on Monday at 9:30 a.m. ET.
