The Ferris State University men’s and women’s tennis teams played a pair of non-league matches against Augustana (South Dakota) on March 10 at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida. The men’s team won their match with a 7-0 sweep, while the women’s team lost by a close 4-3 margin.
These results are part of both teams’ annual spring break trip to Florida, where they compete in neutral site contests. The men’s squad improved its overall record to 9-2 this season after winning all three doubles flights for the opening point and then capturing all six singles positions, five of which were decided in straight sets.
