The men’s team overcame an early deficit in doubles by winning four singles contests. Adrian Catahan secured the decisive point for Ferris State with a comeback in his singles match, finishing with a score of 7-5 in the third set. “This was one of the more special days we’ve had at the Ferris State Racquet facility,” said FSU head coach Mark Doren. “Both teams played outstanding tennis today. I’m so proud of the hard work and focus that all 22 student-athletes on the men’s and women’s tennis teams have shown this semester. We still have more to go, but we’re going to celebrate this day.” Doren also said, “I can’t say enough about Adrian Catahan and his unwavering belief in his abilities today.
