The Ferris State University women’s softball team split a doubleheader against the Parkside Rangers on April 4, ending their weekend road series in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play with a 3-1 record.
The outcome reflects the team’s ongoing efforts in both conference and non-conference matchups throughout the season, according to the official website. The Bulldogs lost the first game 5-3 but responded with a commanding 15-5 victory in six innings during the second game. The games were moved from Parkside’s home field in Wisconsin to Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois, due to weather and field conditions.
