Against Grand Valley State, a single run in the second inning broke a tie, with two more runs in the sixth securing their win. Grand Valley State recorded nine hits, while Ferris State managed only five. Notably, designated player Abby Meyer achieved two hits and a walk.

Cecilia Bell pitched for Ferris State, holding Grand Valley State to two earned runs over nine hits. Nevaeh Ingram of Grand Valley claimed victory, restricting Ferris State to a single run.

In the subsequent game, Parkside’s Ellie Curtis achieved a no-hitter, pitching all seven innings. Parkside scored single runs in the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings, and Ferris State senior Brooklyn Verbeek drew the team’s sole walk.

Bell again led Ferris State’s pitching with six innings, allowing one earned run. Ella Covill-Marter pitched an inning, giving up another earned run.

Ranked sixth in the NCAA D2 Midwest Regional Rankings, Ferris State now looks to be one of the top eight teams advancing to the NCAA Tournament. The selection show will be broadcast at 10 a.m. ET on NCAA.com.
