Ferris State University’s men’s golf team concluded their participation in the Doc Spragg Fall Invite, finishing ninth overall. The competition took place in Findlay, Ohio, and wrapped up on Tuesday, October 15th. The Bulldogs ended with a total score of 881 over 54 holes, including a final round score of 305. Earlier rounds saw Ferris State achieving scores of 282 and 294.

Grand Valley State claimed victory in the event with an overall score of 840. Ashland followed with a score of 862, while host Findlay secured third place at 866 in the field consisting of 19 teams.

McCoy Biagioli led Ferris State by shooting a one-over-par 73 in the final round, moving up to tie for 27th place. Kole Putnam also tied for the same position after carding a final round score of 79. Sam Havey finished tied for 34th after an 81 in his last round. Zach Koerner achieved a final round score of 77, placing him tied for 55th overall. Shayne Beaufait completed his performance with a score of 76, sharing the position at 63rd place.

The Bulldogs are set to conclude their fall season at the Bill Crabtree Invitational scheduled for October 28-29 in Owensboro, Kentucky.
