On Sunday, April 13, former Catholic Central High School standout Axel Cummings’ current college team, the Manchester Spartans, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Hanover Panthers.
The game took place at K.T. Young Ballpark. This was their second matchup against the Panthers this season.
The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 4:15 p.m. at Gratz Field against Earlham Quakers.
These former City of Grand Rapids area high school standouts will be competing during the week of Monday, March 2.
