Grand Rapids Residents Encouraged to Provide Feedback on City Services

Grand Rapids, Mich. – The City of Grand Rapids is once again urging all community members to provide feedback on City services, programs, events, and facilities. The Grand Rapids’ National Community Survey (NCS) is now open for participation until Thursday, March 21, 2024.

Residents who were part of the initial phase of the survey initiative and received a survey via mail are requested to share their feedback either through the provided online link or by returning the completed survey via mail as instructed.

According to city officials, the survey, consisting of 31 questions, covers various aspects such as quality of life, City services, customer service experiences, community characteristics, opportunities, and participation in City programs. Completing the survey is estimated to take about 15 minutes.

City staff intends to utilize the survey findings to compare against data gathered from the previous 2022 NCS survey across all areas outlined in the City’s strategic plan. The City Commission plans to incorporate the survey results into upcoming discussions related to the Fiscal Year 2025 budget.

It is highlighted that all survey responses will remain anonymous to encourage open and honest feedback from participants.

For further details or inquiries, individuals are encouraged to reach out to the City’s 311 Customer Service at 616.456.3000 or via email at info@grcity.us.
